Absolutely no adware/spyware.
GreatNews doesn't need .NET or Java runtime. Everything is included in the setup files.

GreatNews improves rapidly. Beta versions will display a message after 30 ~ 60 days to prompt user to upgrade to latest build. Although all functions will continue to work indefinitely, it's recommended to upgrade for compatibility.
